How many use a macbook pro for editing? I would love to be able to do most of my editing on a mobile device. Curious if others are able to make that work? Otherwise I will upgrade my desktop to the iMac 5K. Thanks!

At work I use a 27" iMac but that's for day job stuff with a Wacom. At home I just use the trackpad on the laptop to edit/retouch etc. 6D x 2 | TM SP 35mm ƒ1.4 | 50mm ƒ1.8 | 85mm ƒ1.8 | 24-105mm ƒ4L USM | 135mm ƒ2L | 200mm ƒ2.8L II | 17-40mm ƒ4L | Sy 24mm ƒ1.4 | Sy XP 14mm ƒ2.4 Flickr

I hook it up to an external monitor when I'm at my desk and want a bigger screen to look at.

If I really want more space then I just go to my iMac 21.5 with a Dell 24". But this is really nice to take on the road if I want to. -Sac

The thing that I like the most - it's portable! However, still planning to get a 5K for the home and wifey. bikfoto

When I edit something that requires more real estate I use my 2009 iMac as an external display. Sometimes not taking a photograph can be as problematic as taking one. - Alex Webb

I just hook up a bigger display or two (using the two thunderbolt port or HDMI outs), and I have six USB 3.0 hard drives, wacom intuos 5 tablet, and card reader hooked up to a hub. Surprisingly handy at editing photos even though it's only two physical processing cores. I like big cinema cameras and I can not lie

I can only imagine the 5K is much worse. Besides, with a MBP you can connect an external display that suits your needs. "Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.
