Potn is locked on my computer

i can access potn ok but it is locked up on the home page. I made a few posts and
Posted 4 photos on the new site then it stopped working. The problem is just on my pc, I can log on from other computers. Right now I'm using my wife's IPad and seems to work fine. My PC is working fine on other websites. Wonder what I may have done to cause this to happen and what do I need to do to fix my problem.
My computer skills are very limited but I've tried and can't seem to gain anything.

Not to be a Smart Arse.. but did you reboot and/or clear the cache?

What browser/operating system?
Have you tried all of the following?

1. Close the window/tab POTN is in, then restart it?
   
2. Log out of POTN?
   
3. Clear the cache of your browser?
   
4. Restart browser (all sessions)?
   
5. Use another browser on that PC?
   
6. Make sure your Java and JavaScript engines are up-to-date?
   
7. Restart computer?
   

I had a problem with not being able to post on POTN using Firefox, but posting using Safari was OK. Updated Firefox, and the problem disappeared. So check or update your browser.

Thanks Joayne, Jon and seres for your comments and help. I'm back on after going completely through Jon's list, twice, and I'm still not sure what I did right finally. My computer is fairly new to me and I restored to original settings after clearing everything and that seemed to get me back on.
I do appreciate your time and patience with me in the matter, when computers are involved I have much too learn, too much to be of any help to others I'm afraid but thankful for those of you that are willing to share your knowledge.
I was having withdrawal symptoms because I couldn't get on POTN.
