I did not even know what these were until recently. A friend told me what they were so now I can actually post and not look foolish calling them something they are not. He/She was definitely keeping an eye on me though.

Nice shot of an awesome bird. Like 2n10 mentioned above, try posting shots of birds in the BIRDS sharing section. You'll probably get more responses there and it helps keep the forum organized.

Thanks for helping me on the sexing of he bird. There is a reference sheet at the bird blind and they did not even have the Oriole on the reference sheet. So I do know know the difference between the sexes on them.

The females are much duller, with an olive-yellow color typically, though there is more variation among females than males.

Thanks PKnight. I did some research when I got home from work tonight. I think I have a few of the females and never even knew what they were. I think this might be a few female Orioles based on the reference photos I have seen tonight.
