Lower Manhattan from Newport NJ

Some of my friends and I braved the COLD yesterday. Maybe COLD is putting it mildly. It was down right FREEZING! We were out there for about 3 hours waiting for the right light First we thought golden hour was awesome! Then came blue hour! All we could say was "WOW!" I think it was worth freezing our butts off

Yes it was! I really like the composition and the colors of the sky. That new World Trade Center tower looks really good. South Manhattan has got that powerful skyline again.

I am glad you toughed it out that's a killer image, nicely done. I stood in almost that same spot back in 2012 when I visited my mom who was working with FEMA during the hurricane aftermath. This took me back to that moment. Love the colors and composition.
