When shooting landscapes I normally rely on Live view to achieve level as, often, the scene can look canted to one side even if it is actually level. Dec 10, 2014 14:13 | #14 If you are likely to use your 300 F2.8 on your ball head then the k40X is probably the better option. I don't like using big lenses on ball heads but others do. Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).
