V850 and heat protection mode

I have 4 of these. I was doing some battery tests and noticed that one of them doesn't kick into protection mode until I hit 30 pops. All the others kick in after 20. Anyone else experience this?

Just to follow up on this. The flash blew today. sparked and then displayed E3. Getting it replaced.

Sounds like you blew the tube... Always be careful testing full pops..

Yep, that was my point with the original post. The 850 should cutoff at 20. For some reason this was letting it go to 30. This is a v850 from CheetahLight, getting an RMA number was no problem. Ed's great like that.

Yah anything above 20 decreases the life of the tube it seems.. That seems about the average range I have seen.. The Cactus RF60 is the following however it exactly matches the V850 spec....

20 shots at 1/1 power
30 shots at 1/2 + 0.7
40 shots at 1/2 + 0.3
60 shots at 1/2

I have 4 v850s, this was the only one that did't go into protection mode at 20 pops.
