I held off upgrading to Yosemite for obvious reason. How’s it working now? Had there been enough improvement so that upgrading won’t endanger my livelihood? I have a Mac Mini I can test it on first.

I was an early adopter and the first machine I upgraded was my 2009 iMac. The upgrade was without problem and things are still running fine. I've since purchased a MBP running Yosemite as well. I think it is a great OS.

What software are you using for it?

I have some developer tools which are still giving us headaches on Yosemite, but other than that it has been fairly solid for us at the office.

No.

10.10.1 is the latest public release, and based on the articles at Macworld I wouldn't touch it yet. For me, Mavericks works fine. There's nothing overtly compelling for me to upgrade. I will upgrade eventually, but not yet.

My biggest programs are obviously Lightroom 5 and Photoshop 6. I use Windows Remote Connect a bit and a few other things, but mainly it’s my editing machine. The games are all on Windows. :D

Just checked and my versions are:

Lightroom 5.7
Camera Raw 8.7
Photoshop 14.2.1 x64
Muse 2014.0.0.328, CL784653

No issues in Yosemite

I've been running it on my 13" rMBP (late 2013) and Mac Mini (late 2012) without fail since it came out. Can't wait to use it on my new 5k iMac next week when it's delivered. :D

I got it the first day it was released to public. Only issue was with no driver for wacom tablet which has since been rectified.

I'm still having WiFi issues after 10.10.1.. :( Massive slowness at times, turn wifi off/on, it goes away for a while, then comes back.. very frustrating. I'm living with it, but I reaaally hope 10.10.2 isn't far off.

FWIW, early 2013 rMBP.

The only thing weird I've noticed was some ghosting on the desktop screen of my 2011 Mbp for a few seconds. Opening another app put my desktop back to normal.

I upgraded, didn't fix anything, but didn't break anything, had the wifi issue and still have, but all my apps work with no issues, photoshop cc, lightroom, wacom tablet, illustrator cc etc. I did it because i wanted to reformat my HD so was a good a time as any, late 2013 mbp i7 8gb ram, no performance issues as well.

That being said, there is nothing here that is compelling to upgrade, no wow thats better now, at least in my use.

I think I may test it out on the Mini, but the rMBP may have to wait. It's working fine as is and I travel a lot, so if the wifi breaks I'm going to be in trouble. I regularly use at least 3 different wifi networks at different locations throughout the day and that doesn't count when I have other obligations that require using wifi somewhere else.

I've had no problems except Network Connect and VPN connections because Java has not been updated for our system. All my Macs are on 10.10.1 except for my Mac Pro. I'll probably get to it in a couple of weeks.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

yep, no real compelling reason to upgrade, think this is more of a lateral than an upgrade.
