I prefer the high country too, but obviously there are some nice places in the Valley. This was may first time shooting Half Dome from the Valley. Images in the Backcountry

Normally I shoot at least two different exposures. In this one, I was able to capture it in one exposure, but I processed it twice. I used Tony Kuyper's Layer Masks to blend them. Images in the Backcountry
