Does anyone know of any future lenses in the X series line up? I'm seriously tempted to switch over from what I have to lighten my gear.....and also free up some cash!

I've read about a telephoto zoom due maybe next year, anyone have any details?

Thanks

Here is Fuji's current lens roadmap. http://www.fujifilm.com …_cameras/xf_lens/roadmap/ (external link)

Are you looking for anything in particular. There are also quite a few very good 3rd party lenses out in X mount.

Thanks for that!

I know I'm not going to replace my 500 f4, but if I switch over, I still want reach. I'm interested in that super telephoto zoom, also the 50-140 2.8

No problem. Yeah I doubt you will see any 500mm native mount lenses for the Fuji system at least not for a while. They are working on offering more long options though, it will be interesting to see what the super telephoto zoom comes out to be.

I'm assuming it'll be a 100-400 type lens.

My guess is something like a 120-300 or 140-300 F2.8-4 or 3.5-5.6 but its just that a guess.

The 400mm zoom is f5.6 unless I am mistaken. The 50-140mm f2.8 IS is already out. I am waiting for 90mm f2.:)
