Sweet! How do you like that combo? Do you AF with it? Is it tolerable?

Why back to OM? What's your thinking there? Better functionality? More lenses? Any specific reasoning? Just curious.

Hehe, a few months back when you got the a7 II I just knew for sure you would be moving on inside 6 months. And absolutely nothing wrong with that! Enjoy your new Olympus; have to admit they make a very very tempting and excellent product. Maybe we'll see you again around here next year with an a7 III. :p

Oh, and one last thing: Thank you for your excellent contributions. I admired and appreciated your photography here; you're wonderfully talented. :)

Thanks, David!

Ive not sold it yet, i posted it up.... one of the best Combo's i've ever owned was the olympus OMD em1 + that 75mm lens... that combos was just Magical! and i really miss it! that 55mm F/1.8 on the sony a7II is magical as well. but i prefer the Oly.

Here is a couple of preview shots from my first wedding with the A7II and A7 (previously using 5D3).

These shots are with the new 35mm 1.4 - AMAZING lens BTW. Definitely on my list to buy (rented this time to see if I like it).

Well, if you get to know dtufino a bit on this forum, you'll notice that he sells most of his new cameras within 6-9 months after buying them. At first he loves his new camera, but after a few months he dislikes it or gets tired of it. I've seen it happen with his X-T1, his original A7 and his OM-D E-M1. I just think he likes to try out new cameras on a regular basis. Only his EOS-1D X appears to be a keeper. :-P

So true. I've seen it coming from the moment he showed up in this thread.

You guys got me all figured out... lol

I had 2 OMD Em1's.... The fuji XT1 was terrible for my needs, sorry but true. I eventually sold my OMD's to get the latest and greatest, but i had a real connection with the OMD. Sure it's 43rds, but it was a real treat to use! Thats all... i'll be back when Sony Released its Medium Format Mirrorless camera... haha! jk...

i still have tons of photos i need to upload here that i took with my Sony A7II... posted it 2 days ago no one is biting... might be stuck with it for now.

Nothing wrong with the Sony A7II, it's an amazing camera... but for my needs i think the OMD EM1 would suffice.
