took this one today (thurs) using the sigma lens and kenko HD tc . the shot is cropped with the target bird (middle one ) being dead centre of the frame and the bird on the left is up to the edge of the frame ,overall i'm very pleased with this as it proves the kenk is sharp right up to the edges ,shot stopped down to f11 which seems the optimum with this lens and t.c

back to stand alone lens today ,lucky sighting of a flock of 8 purple sandpipers (quiet rare here) sheltering from the gale force winds and high tide .so filled my boots with close ups

but when you CAN get close with this lens the benefits are unreal ,you wouldn't believe these were taken on a grim dull day with light rain

Nice day today in the front yard. Chance to see just how the Sigma 150-600mm does at 600mm with the Canon 7DII. Monopod used in all pix. Shutter at 1/800s, max aperture, ISO variable. All shots edited and cropped.
