Thank you Bianchi, it's the older Canon 1.4 II. I found it gave quite good results for subjects that filled the frame but quality fell off pretty quickly if I applied any crop. Here's a couple examples of cropped images from the combo:

How do you like it ? very nice, AF seems that tad snappier than 5D3, all f/8 AF points are nice, the body is able to acquire focus in ridiculous low light, 7fps actually feels faster than it should be, shadow noise definitely much improved, high ISO overall i'd say roughly the same compared to 5D3 BUT due to higher res and better noise characteristics you have a better file to work with, touch screen and LV shooting is great...just a wonderful camera https://www.tonyliuphotography.com.au/
