theblackfox Goldmember More info | Nov 15, 2016 11:33 | #1203 as the u.k weather has done its normal winter trick cold ,grey and misty i have been playing with the settings on my 80D its my first winter with it so needed to find a way to make the camera and lens work together .the answer was fairly simple ,still shoot in aperture priority ,but set the iso to auto ,and in menu set a minimum shutter speed of 1/1000th sec .with it set like this on the 80d you can also use exposure compensation to get it spot on .below are two examples from this morning on a grey drizzle filled day one at iso5000 and the other at iso6400 .the success of this means i can use the lens all winter without the fear of the dreaded noise  Image hosted by forum (824785) © the black fox [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW.
