What is the best dSLR camera shutter release app?

I have the TriggerTrap release app, ok, I haven't got the cable yet to hook up to my iPhone, but what I want is an app that allows pre-programmable timer for making the shutter be exposed during a set amount of time, then after that, set another interval of time the shutter is released

e.g. for say ten minutes, hold the shutter for set amount of time say 2 secs, then after that period hold it for another 1 secs for 5 mins

is that a statement or a question? you can use either triggertrap or camranger with computer / phone or get an intervelamiter (not too sure on spelling)

DSLRController has an iPad app; so for that matter does qDslrDashboard (external link). Both are good; DSLRController only supports Canon; qDslrDashboard supports Canon, Nikon, and Sony.

But that app only works on DSLRController works on jailbreak ipad/iphones, something I don't want to do

It's a statement, for what I am using, camranger is a bit pricey, especially if there is no money rolling in

So try qDslrDashboard. It's in the Apple App Store. I somehow doubt Apple would supply something that requires jailbreaking.

Which app? If you mean DSLR Controller or qDslrDashboard, both work for pretty much any Canon with Live View.

What is wrong with Canon's camera connect?
Also, what is wrong with TriggerTrap? Use it just fine with both my cameras.

EOS that's what I use for my canon 70d and iPhone but I'm not sure if this answers your full question tho.
