I have been shooting for almost 50 years, I own several EOS digital cameras 5DMKII is the one I use the most. However, I am being given many more opportunities to do combination work, mostly events where they desire stills and video. Then put together as a presentation for the client.
My question is what do I purchase as a video camera? A 7DMKII or something like a Canon AX10? Please advise, thank you

Canon R6, 2 Canon 5D Mk II; Sony A6000; 16-35 LF2.8; 24-70 F2.8 L; 24-105 F4 IS L; 70-200 F4 IS L; 28-135 F3.5; 50 F1.4; RF 24-105 F4 IS L, and 580 EX11

Is the 5D MkII not capable enough for what you need? I remember tv shows being filmed with it.

How gappy are you doing video on the 5DII? The 7DII has a few improvementd bug its still a dlsr interface and tgat can be pretty unsatifying unless you trick it out for video.
