I have my first couple of paid photoshoots this weekend and while I've done my research and I'm pretty confident in my abilities, I'm a little nervous. I have two family sessions Saturday and Sunday; one with a mother and her two young sons (12-13ish) and another with a family of five (older kids + maybe two dogs). I think the thing I'm most nervous about is posing, having ideas, and directing them them around from scene to scene. I am a people person (I'm a radio personality full time) but something about the unfamiliarity of this makes it different.
Any last minute pointers you can offer to me? I feel pretty good about the technical side of things (lighting, camera settings, etc.), but I'm open to advice on that front as well.
Thanks!
EDIT: Just want to add, these shoots are both happening in snowy parks. What are some fun things we could do using snow...beyond the obvious, snowball throwing, blowing it out of the hand, etc.
