Big Cat Love

A tender moment between lions ... of course they had just finished a full night of feasting on a large giraffe. And to make things a little more 'circle of life', the other giraffes from the tower were just a few hundred feet away watching as they couldn't get to the river because the lions were between them and the water. Shot in August in Chobe NP, Botswana on one of my workshops using my 5D MkIII at 400mm.

Yes, I take smaller sized groups. Typically 6 to 8 but as many as 12. Basically I know a few smaller lodges where we can do photo discussions each day and control the guides. In vehicles, I limit it to 2 people per row (typical vehicle holds 10 guest, we limit it to 6 guests plus me beside guide in front seat. At Chobe, our boat holds 8 photographers in a single row on swivel seats with gimbals similar to Wemberly. works well. Send me a private message if you want to know more.
