Would it be possible to have the URL insertion right there on the toolbox, along with the Quote, and format options? Right now, it's buried in the [More BBCode] menu and it's quite a pain to be pulling it from there all the time: too many clicks and two windows that have to be closed every time you link to another page.

Just type the URL with "url" and "/url" in brackets around it. It turns into a link.

http://www.wikipedia.org/ (external link)

Giving your link a title is done like this:

[URL=http://www.wikipedia.org/]A link to Wikipedia[/URL]

. . . which produces this:

A link to Wikipedia (external link)

If you do not need to give URL a verbal description, just place it in post, no tags needed. They are automatically made "active". Here I just copied the url, not tags added:

http://www.wikipedia.org/ (external link)

Always check the post preview if in doubt. :)

I thought URLs were automatically converted, but when I checked Preview, the URL hadn't become a link. I told Alveric the bbcode because that's a safe way to get a link.
