A few weeks ago I went to an open shoot thing. A bunch of photographers and people that are aspiring to be models. There weather was terrible but I wanted to make the best of it. I would like some feed forward on some of the shots I captured that day.

I really like #1, nice lighting, nice pose. #2 might have been better had the model been separated from the train if you could have stepped to the right a bit. Made the most of a horrid day's weather by the look of it!

That first image is stellar. I agree with the above comment about the second. Although, not knowing what was to the left of the model leaves that in your court. Might have been worse than a train haha. I do still find the second shot pleasing.

Maybe decreasing contrast on the train or desaturating a little could help.

I guess you're asking for post processing ideas. Hence "feed forward". So, it may not be plausible to suggest different framing unless you happened to take several different angles.

thank you there are trains on both sides. I did take a few from slightly different angles. I was under an awning and she was walking back toward me. I will try to see if I can do more to separate her and possible look at the other frames.

I thought it would be something like that. There where guys that had been shooting for years. One new MUA and a handful of new models. It ended up being a free for all but it was a great Idea so we are going to try to grow it.

Nice job!
