This thread seems to be dying as most people post in the WOW thread. Anyway, here are two from me.

WOW Annie! Great shots, I didn't even know there was a Wow thread.

Here's a few from my great afternoon at the river yesterday.

These are fantastic!

Yes, the WOW thread started off as a review but people started posting photos on it and it's now on page 355. That's where all the pros post. Here's the link. Be prepared to spend some hours going through it as there are some really incredible images to entertain you!

Looking for some feedback. I don't know if I like this photo or not. It does show what I saw; the moon shining through a thin layer of clouds. This combined two photos. One exposed the clouds, the other exposed the moon (4 stops less light). Anyhow, here's the result. Your thoughts?

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

I like it. I did something similar with the supermoon sighting and was quite pleased with the results.

Great shots, Annie! I requested that the mods merge the two threads but to no avail.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

I like this as the light seems to emanate from the moon and it doesn't look like a merged photo.

I like this one too but it does look more like a merged photo as the moon has a dark halo.

very true Annie, however both my shots had a Halo around the moon (normal and under exposed). It bothered me a little but I decided not to Photoshop it out. FWIW a more real composite :) LOL

FWIW, I really like both of those moon photos. Both have that dreamy, possibly creepy vampire around the corner feel to them.
