A few from Kauai

Recently took my first trip to Hawaii and managed to get a few bird shots.

The Hawaiian Gallinule is a subspecies of the Common Gallinule found only on Kauai and Oahu.

Thanks. There are also Northern Cardinals on the island. They look really out of place.

VERY nice set of images Ken. The Red-crested Cardinal is a real beauty, I'd love to have one in my collection. Sadly a Pacific trip isn't in my future at this point.
