Wanted to get a bit more serious with photography this year, so decided to do a 365. As parent of 2 little ones, I didn't realistically plan to shoot each day (also considering wife & I both work). My own guidelines for the project were to do at least something photography related each day. If not shooting, then at least read up (articles/forums) or catch online training/tutorials (CreativeLive, Adorama, etc). Think I managed to do this successfully and have a much better foundation then when I began the year. Lots and lots to go but at least (I think) headed in the right direction. Time to start thinking about a new/different project for next year.

In the meantime, just wanted to share a few:

1. Kiddies by the tree. Wife was telling them to look real hard for the magic elves with candy canes. Don't own a tripod so rested camera on a cabinet to get down to the low shutter speed needed for this.

2. Daughter, London. Had her playing with some things in front of a window. Thought she looked somewhat angelic (though I know better)

3. Son, Aidan. Tinkering with a reflector. He's in the bad cheesy smile phase, so that may be why this one appealed to me.

4. London again, this time on a rainy day.

5. Wife, Jasmine. Was happy to get this at all as we were under attack from the kids.

That's it. Thanks for looking!

Very nice set. I really like the one of the kids in front of the tree. The pose on that one is awesome. Also really like the shot of London through the rain covered window. It looks like your 365 day journey is paying off.

Great images! On the last photo, stop down your aperture to have both eyes in focus. To make the close up black and white have more impact, consider cleaning up the catch lights (to just have one) using photoshop. Way to go FINISHING a 365!

Thanks all! And thanks for the suggestions .bulldog. These are the types of things I'm hoping to improve upon in the upcoming year.
