OK, I purchased a Think Tank Airport Commuter. It has a little combination cable lock to allow locking my bag to something for theft protection while on the move. I opened up my new bag and pulled out the instructions and then managed to set the combination without knowing what it got set to. It didn't bother me a lot as I don't intend to use it that way very often, but still a brand new bag you like to have things correct.

So I shot an email off to Think Tank yesterday just to see what they might have to say. Today they have already shipped a new lock to me preset to the combination I want!!!

TALK ABOUT GREAT SERVICE!!! I was totally surprised at their quick response and will likely never purchase another brand, Kudos to Think Tank and their OUTSTANDING customer service.

I actually did the exact same thing to my airport commuter as well (only I set the combination and then lost the paper I had it written down on)'

Think Tanks CS is top notch! Their bag's are not cheap but they are great bag with even better CS.

p.s. If you find yourself extremely bored one night sit down in front of the TV with the locked cable that you don't know the code to and go through the number combos till you find the right combination. Now you have a spare cable lock incase something happens to the other

Think tank CS has always been brilliant for me too

I tweeted them asking if it was possible to buy a new set of wheels for my Airport Security - they tweeted back with "email us with your address, we will get some in the post"

I also asked the. If it was possible to buy one of the dividers with a phone pocket in the middle from the mirrorless mover series, for my retro7
Again the answer was "no, you cant buy one, where do we send it to ?"

Love the companies gear, and the way they look after customers.

Yes, they are very good. I had a Retro10 with torn stitching on one of the Velcro strips inside the bag. They replaced it with a brand new bag after I sent them a photo. Very cool.

I bought my Big Glass Taxi used, and it didn't have the tripod and monopod side straps. Recently I emailed TTP and asked where to go to buy them. They just told me they were going to send two sets out at no cost. It may be a small ticket item, but I am still impressed with the CS!

My similar story, bought my Retrospective 20 used, it was missing dividers, wrote Think Tank and asked to buy replacements, they replied, "We have sent a new set with our compliments." ... excellent!

I just received the straps yesterday. Included was a lens cap clip (http://www.amazon.com …ns-Cap-Clip/dp/B005IUTF2G (external link)). It's a cheap little thing, but just the fact that they likely paid for it themselves and threw it in for the heck of it. Very cool.

Similar story here on two different items. One bag I bought was missing the rain cover and another was missing some straps. Bought both used. I did the same as others & inquired about replacements & they sent me new ones on their dime. When I asked, they said they didn't care where I bought them, just that I owned them & they want their customers to be happy. Great folks to deal with.

Plus, I just won a Pro Speed Belt from them as part of their 15 Days of Christmas giveaway!

It is good to hear such good service from a manufacturer/retailer. I see I am not the only one to experience it. I know they have a loyal customer in me now.

I went to their Instagram and Twitter accounts when I was thinking about buying the Airport Essentials. I found a picture of the bag and left a comment asking if it would hold my exact gear. Simon found all the gear I asked about, took a picture of it in the bag I wanted, then replied with that picture so I could see exactly what I would be getting. Definitely good customer service. I'm buying my 3rd ThinkTank bag this week (Retrospective, Airport Essentials, Airport Security).

Wow. Amazing customer service. I'm going to go look at their website on the strength of these reports alone…and shockingly I'm not being sarcastic

I love my Pro Speed Belt. I really wasn't sure about it at first. Paired with a Capture Pro camera clip and a couple of lens cases every time I go for a walk it comes with me.

Congrats on the win!

I'm sold on Think Tank. They've helped me similarly. While I thank my lucky stars I'm finally set for bags I still watch for anything new from them. Quality stuff.

Agreed with all above. My customer service with Think Tank has also been outstanding. I buy nothing but Think Tank stuff now. And the quality of their gear is second to none as well.
