With flickr going to "dogs" (most likely), I have to look for another home for my pictures.
What are the comparable alternatives?
I just want to be prepared before the monster starts swallowing..

I have mine on smugmug as well just in case. Who knows what will happen to flickr now that Yahoo has been bought?

Zenfolio has been good so far, but I have a tendency to chose a losing horse.

Lovely shots, Jeff! I think the 1st shot would look even better if you cloned out the long raindrop streaks in the background. They draw my eyes away from the bird!

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

No rain, this one had some big splashes as the drop hit him in the top of the head.

I'm counterpoised to Scrumhalf and like the streaks, tells me the miserableness of the weather the bird is enduring. Just me.

IMHO looks better with the rain. My eye got drawn to the one just left of the bird and then I noticed the others so works well.

I have been using Smugmug for many years and have been happy with the service. It's not free, but the cost is reasonable and you get unlimited storage.
