That 300mm is going to be quite limiting to your shooting I reckon. I've seen a number of spectacular shots from you with EXIF stating just over 100mm

Well your absolutely right that at times I'm at 100mm, But the world becomes over saturated with your image and long's for something new. And a guy can carry two camera's ya know lol... A fella gets tired of the same old and needs to find a reason to move on to something new.

But ya.. 100mm can be fun............

Who would get tired of seeing excellent shots like that?

But yeah a 300-800 f/2 would be useful .. if it didn't weight 100kg. Just think about a 400mm+ front element

It'd be what, twice as big as the 1200/5.6? Sure it'll work; you'll mount it on a gimbal on a reinforced tripod on a concrete pad under your porch.

What makes you think it would need to be twice as big as a 1200mm, The Sigma can do 600mm in a lens a bit bigger than a 100-400mm ?? Ok so I did forget about the f2 part of my problem.. but thats up to the geniuses of the world... Not me. I just do the wanting
