lol too funny, I will say I know my human body is the cause of the trouble so I float the camera away from my shaky human body as much as possible.

He's taking his Canoes out for a powerboat ride?
Funny way to use a canoe! I think he may be missing the point,..

Yoiu may recall Jake Lake Opeongo is super big and can be a bear for the average canoer as many have dyed trying. so in the 50's I think they started the Taxi service so you can get out of the largest part of the lake before you give up lol it can knock a full day or two off your first leg. Then your down to a great canoe trip into moose and bear country. its a great help to many

only a couple hundred yard off... Had to focus with live view and 10 X zoom he was that far off... O ya it was before the sun would give up her light

Mate, I'm sure that if you had it on any mode you'd do ok

I found the kangas but the big buck stood up tall so I didn't get too close. He's well over 2 metres tall when he stands up They aren't like the one's that come into the parks and are accustomed to humans. These fellers swam a creek to set up a colony here. I've never got a real crisp shots of these fellers ever.

I don't know if it's the dappled light, shooting at full stretch wide open, their fur or the moisture in the air (it's a wetland) and even the last shot ain't too sharp. I was creeping forward towards the mob and this one was just lying there nodding off so I tried to get a close up before he hopped it.

In the second shot I reckon it's the fur. It seems to me that vegetation in front of and behind the roo are sharp so something is causing the roo to seem less sharp

There's some spoonbill and ibis nests on this island as well but sadly, no way of getting any closer. Water fowl seem to be breeding much earlier this year
