I normally prefer primes or the ability to shoot f/2.8 or f/4 when needed. This would be my first purchase that falls outside of that requirement.

I definitely understand the need for speed, but everyone in this thread will describe just how much they like their 100-400LII , Of course I am not a prime guy, I shoot totally different moving focus points and framing 99% of the time.
