Most of the squirrels in my back yard bolt the instant they see me, but this guy was brave.

And for good reason. Nice subject isolation through DOF. Love the cold and wind-blown feel. Intrigued by what the sheep may be looking at. All good stuff

Just part of the pollination system that many plants in SE Australia have evolved to exploit. :) While supplying nectar to attract the birds to feed on, their stamens deposit pollen on the birds' heads while they feed, to be carried to another flower, where, while the bird feeds on nectar from that flower, some of the pollen is deposited on the pistil, thus fertilising the flower. Nature is too clever!

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

Keep posting more of your photos from the Canon EF 100-400 is 2 Folks, All I can say is Wow!! Just a shame that I only just got back from overseas & one of the local photographer shops decided to have a 15% off Canon's Cameras and lenses for three days otherwise I would have bought one myself and would have save about $500 dollars with the Canon cash back for it bummer!! Oh well maybe next year for it.

I’ve been suffering from an ongoing case of severe GAS for the last few months that has me poised for crazy decision-making and camera brand jumping. As a result, I’m really trying to dial myself back into reality and just shoot with the awesome equipment I currently own.

Sooo, I decided to ignore doing homework on Saturday and went to the Zoo instead
