Another nice one.

What's wrong with the poor old frog? You know if you kiss one it may turn into a Prince, right?

Ha ha ha!!! Thanks! There will be no frog kissing anytime soon...at least not by me! I actually like frogs, was quite the tomboy when i was a kid. Favorite thing to do back then was being knee deep in muck trying to catch frogs, turtles, snakes & salamanders...well, also building forts in the woods, gotta have a fort when you're a kid!

Yes Lisa...Set your prince free,....lol Anyone can shoot with a 100-400L ...for me it's about trying to post something that some would hang on the wall or just enjoy seeing. It doesn't have to be big or dangerous lol
Detail, clarity, your where it's at.

BUT CUTE REALLY WORKS. Lol. One of my fav's from the Marten series

LOL! No "Prince Freeing"!Love this one!My favorite also!I think I'm partial to the Martens because they remind me of the ferrets I once had. Such characters! I definitely agree with you about posting something "special" & cute always works, and "cool"...it must be cool also! ;-)a

lol your right Lisa cool is cool, ...Set aside a good long time Medicineman because your going to need it. Ive been trying to find Brutus but no luck yet,..I know he's not far just far enough

One of my first go rounds with Lightroom 6.0 I know no one likes the Moose like the Marten but hey ...they need there air time too. Sorry I'm into goofy cropping right now!!

Nice low POV and reflection.......but man that water is going to run away double quick if you don't straighten it ;)

Also those curious Martens are wall hangers :). I am in Scotland at the end of May and the Pine Marten is on my wish list to see but they are darned elusive even if I can get local knowledge or a guide.

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Wow so right lol .. funny it was taken on a angle to the shore and there is that swirl i the water but man does it ever look wrong when I crop it lol I don't know does this look any better. Pine Marten here are just like that as well, if you want Pine marten most of the time you better be good at hunting them down. But once you do they will give you a chance to get what your looking for most times.

Hopefully this is better

The quality of the images here is awesome and I'm starting to crave the 100-400 MkII. Can anyone post a comparison of the 100-400 with a 300 f4 with and without 1.4x extender please. This might tip me over the edge towards a purchase. :-)

Thanks,

Dave

Today at the San Diego Zoo. 340mm, f11, 1/1250 and ISO too high at 1250 (momma gorilla was moving in and out of a very shady area so I had the ISO up). Oh, also shot through a half-inch of plexiglass.

Here are a few more shots all with the 1.4TCIII attached to the lens. This lens is a winner.
