Using Extender 1.4 III

Visitor to garden. Picture hastily taken through double glazing, at about 22 metres (call it yards if you like) and cropped.

I’ve ordered this one as an acrylic print. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Hi Annie, nice pics. How do you get so close to the Hare without it running off?
I wonder if you could do a Sassanach a favour and get me a shot of an anti-clockwise Haggis please. I have heard that if you get in front of them they turn around and roll down the hillside.:-)

I was with two Flickr friends and we saw the hare a long way off straight in front of us. We walked really slowly towards it. At first its eyes were half closed but it perked up as we got closer but obviously didn't feel threatened as it just stared at us without moving. I think if we had gone much closer it would have run off but we didn't want to frighten it. We all had long lenses - I guess that's what they are for!

As for the haggis, well that's a challenge I'll happily adopt. I'll try and find one during the spring/summer ;-)a
