Did you consider the R before deciding on 4/3?

Sure. The camera weight is not that much different, maybe about half a pound, but it is still going to be the same 100-400II that is too heavy for me.

I also have an M50, but I do not like it that much.

How much you want for it?

I don't have an R, its an RP. Forum doesn't recognize that yet.

$1,150 including shipping, but not to pollute this thread, it is all in the For Sale.

Birds of Bombay Hook NWR.
1) Blue Grosbeak

2) Great Egret

3) Double-created Cormorant trying to cool off.

4) Gray Catbird

This curious little Red Fox got within 8 ft of my car while I was parked letting me get several shots. However, as soon as I tried getting out of the car to get some different shots, he/she retreated into the grasses.

Stunning shots all around, David, but my favorite is the Grosbeak. Sensational.

I just had a week of freedom to go out and shoot anytime I wanted, and I should have made a trip out to Bombay Hook

Pretty hard to beat the 100-400 II as the most versatile lens ever.

While I originally got this lens for planes and birds, it has proven equally useful for another kind of critter. Even with 400mm, I still wind up cropping, sometimes a lot.

5.3 MP crop from 22 MP:
