Model as a human being

Not a fan of fashion photography at all.....and do not like working with models, but sometimes I like some of them as human beings and these are the two I liked.

Beautiful images. The second one is absolutely stunning.

looks like model photography..something a model would use it in their portfolio.

while both are great, the second photo has a unique quality all its own. nice work!

I agree that the second one is brilliant. Everything in the frame is soft. Her natural beauty is very subtle which also helps.

I dislike, and in some cases despise, fashion photography as well. To me, your first image approximates the fashion look a bit. The second one, however, is a winner. (I'da cropped a wee bit below, though, so as not to cut her arm at the wrist.)

Well, your title intrigued me so decided to have a look as I detest photography that treats people as objects. (Usually women and very occasionally men as well.) I agree with Alveric that the top one is par for the course - what's with all the hair over her face? The second one is a great photo with a surreal feel to it. I think it would be much, much better if her hands weren't in it at all - it would be much more mysterious and thoughtful. She would look more like a woman than a weakling.

Both nice shots! The second one bothers me, though, in that the contrast difference over her left eye compared to the right eye just ain't right.

I like the second for the expression and the pose of her hands.

Absoultly love the 1st one.
