I know they aren't the greatest, but I have two shots to choose from and cannot decide which to use. Which do you like better, and why? I like the first, my mother likes the second.

I prefer tha angle and pose in #1 the best. I would try to tone down the highlights so the the snow's not so blown out. But the exposure of the dog looks good. Nice job.

I too prefer angle in the first one, that would make a beautiful Christmas card!

I prefer the first one, but get rid of that piece of grass on the right side and like LV Moose said: tone down the highlights/whites a bit.

Beautiful dog! Number one for me too, it's more interesting, and would make a better Christmas Card! I like the eye contact on the second shot, but I don't like the fact that part of the dog is cut off.

Crop in tight on number two, just a head shot. Love the expression.

#1 is better but the look on his face is "if I had thumbs I'd take this hat off"

Both are great. I'd likely prefer # 2 if it wasn't for the amputated bum so 1 is the winner. I'd probably clone out the grass/leaf on each.

I prefer #2, I prefer the eye contact a lot more.

Gotta go with number 2 also, I love the eye contact.
