A different set from last weekends trip to the Pacific Beach/Seabrook area of the Washington coast. I struggled a bit with shooting and editing these, mainly because of the subject matter (crazy 2 y/o) and time of day. The sun was really welcomed, especially for the beach in Washington in the middle of December, but it made things difficult for me. I have a number of shots (portrait) with bad shadows and blown out skies

Let me know what you think. How did I do? What could I have done different/better?

I like the second one, it's interesting. The first and last he looks like he's bored and it doesn't make an interesting photo.

Those are his GQ, serious shots... haha, I have no idea what he is doing/thinking there. :)

The PP is quite nice, I like it! It fits the mood of his expressions. As the owner of an active 2 y/o myself, I feel your pain in trying to get good shots.

But yes, #2 definitely stands out. :-)

Thanks Tyler - on this particular day the 2 y/o was actually better than the 8 y/o, but both can be... difficult.

I added one more today:
