BBCode insert limitation

The URL field in the URL dialog is too short - 100 characters. I sometimes insert longer links to some places, generally into Amazon search results.

Also it takes 5 clicks to insert a URL - click MORE BB Code, then URL, then paste, then the close button on two dialogs. Closing automatically would be better. A toolbar would be even better - already requested. Old website = two clicks from memory.

You are aware that all all URL's on post are automatically made active? You'll need the URL tag only when you want to name an URL.

I always name my URLs, I don't think 150 character URLs are nice for people to have to read.

AMASS shortens displayed urls so that you see the domain and then the end of parameters. Example: this (nonsensical) url is 232 characters long:

https://www.google.com …567890123456789​0123456789

Cool. But I still want to name URLs and there's a minor field length limitation that should take 30s to remove

I can do it manually of course, which is possibly quicker with all the clicks to get into the bbcode menu anyway.
