Aloha all!

I'm new to printing anything myself and I just got a Canon Pixma Pro-10 printer with a camera package deal. I'm looking to use it just for my test prints here and there before I send anything to the lab. What are the best paper options available for inkjet? With professional paper prints, I like the Kodak Metallic paper and the Fuji Crystal Archive

Uhhh...FUJICOLOR CRYSTAL ARCHIVE PAPER TYPE II is a silver halide color paper designed be exposed in dark conditions and processed with Fuji chemistry. Kinda odd to mention it as a 'favorite inkjet paper' as the Thread title leads the discussion in that direction.

I've printed on it through labs but never before on my new printer. Can you get that paper in say 13x19 sheets?

All I have is Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II and Pro Luster for my new Pro-10. I really love the Luster sheets.

Very happy to receive 50 sheets of 13x19 FREE in the box with the Pro-10.

Crystal Archive requires conventional CHEMICAL PROCESSING (the way they exposed and processed prints before digital!), it is NOT an inkjet paper!
Are you referring to Kodak Metallic?!

[edit] I just looked up Kodak Metallic, and Kodak Endura Metallic is ALSO a conventional chemical process paper. "KODAK PROFESSIONAL ENDURA Premier Metallic Paper is designed
for processing in standard KODAK EKTACOLOR Chemicals for Process RA-4."

that's what I was thinking also. What I was saying is that those are my favorite papers and I'm looking for something comparable for an inkjet print with that metallic look to it if that's even possible

I print quite a bit (primarily b/w via QuadToneRip), I get all my paper at RedRiver (especially now that Ilford exited the scene).

I like the San Gabriel Semi Gloss, and the Arctic Polar Satin myself. Not sure if it's relevant, but I'm using an Epson 2880.
