hi
just a quick one

i want to send an image to a magazine and they require the image to be 300dpi. i have photoshop 7.

is this just IMAGE then IMAGE SIZE then set the resolution to 300 and pixels/inch or is there something more sinister and complex than that.

thanks

james

Hi James,

In Photshop, image, image size, type in 300 in the resolution box (pixels/inch), BUT if you want to retain original image quality DO NOT have the box "resample image checked.

If you check this box photoshop will have to interpolate the image to change the size.
My advice, don't resample, just accept the size that upping the dpi gives you.

Hope that helps

Alan
