Your best/favorite Avian image in 2014

Not the best IQ but my first owl ever and we got to watch two of these eagle owls fight to bloody stumps over a female eagle owl sitting calmly on an adjacent tree-

I am a beginner not only in taking bird pictures, but actually owning a REAL camera and learning to take REAL pictures. For me 2014 was the year I started. Most of these awesome pictures shown here are what continues to push me to learn more about this "art"! The experts and professionals that contribute here have incredible skills and share phenomenal photographs. Thanks for the inspiration! And thanks to many of you that continue to be gentle with you critiques of my contributions. I promise to get better. Here are some of my 2014 favorites ....
