The D700 is a mighty heavy beast compared to D600,D610,D750. I have D700 and boy do I get fed up carrying it about :-( it takes lovely pics but using it with a heavy lens such as my Sigma 105 OS macro (also heavy but beautifully sharp) is a real pain to carry around :-( but still a very good camera :-)

Great shots everyone im so glad this thread is still alive, here is a bride and groom shot from a wedding i shot in July

I got the D800 but I've had it since 2013. I wanted to keep the D700 as a backup but it was just collecting dust since I got the D800. After seeing the results of 36MP, I couldn't go back to 12MP :lol:

I picked one up about 2 months ago. Such a great camera. I have a Sigma 50mm 1.4 and a Tamron 19-35. No complaints and shooting away at 48k on the shutter. Hope to post some pics soon. ߘ
