What makes this shot truly awesome is the composite image with the visible ground. My aurora shots all show dark ground, so now I'm going to have to try and improve my technique!

It's difficult to composite those because the light pattern in the sky won't match the reflection shot you take of the foreground. To get around that in 1 capture I exposed for 30 seconds but for the first 25 seconds I had my hand in front of the lens, covering the top of the frame and then removed it for the last 5 seconds.
