I shot this pair Sunday when I was showing a friend around a "new" wetlands here in tucson.
Im including pixel counts so people can see how heavy the crops are.

Male (Obviously) 1286x 856 pixels left. about 1MP I think. It definitely suffers a bit in quality but still looks decent.

Very nice, Jeremy. I'm not sure I've ever seen, or ever noticed at least, a female when I've been down there. The males are so striking that I've always been on the hunt for them. Well done.

The male is a beautiful capture. The female is also a great looking Vermilipon.

Sparadise, you are right. They are not easy to get close to.
I was about 50 feet away from the male and about 25 ft away from the female.

These are very heavy crops but they held up pretty well.
