Sure, it's a niche lens, but I shoot with it pretty often. When I was on a crop body, I used my Sigma 10-20 all the time, this lens blows it out of the water when it comes to sharpness. for crop, I'd suggest the Rokinon/Samyang/Bower 8mm lens. The 12 would'nt be very fishy on your 7100

Thanks for the feedback. I have been following the Samyang 8mm thread. Also interested in the Tokina 11-16.

Really depends on what you are looking for. They're both wide but produce very different results. The 11-16 can be used for a lot of different situations whereas the fish is a specialized lens. Fish is a lot cheaper though haha
