These look very film-like. Are you processing them at all?

(I like them, btw, just wondering..)

And are you losing some of the frame using it on a 1D?

This lens focuses way better on my 50D than it did on my XSi. And yes, this is a mirror shot... took it to show my glasses I just got. Had an eye exam last friday and my assumptions were correct, I'm near-sighted.

I cropped about half of this but it still keeps the detail nicely.

There is no PP (except a little sharpening after resizing)
Images from 1d just look that good straight from camera :)

About losing frame: this is not a problem. On fast apertures (like 1.4, 2.0) it is hardly visible, on slower a little more (but still small) and you can crop it easily

/most of my images are not cropped, just resized/
