That means it will fit on Canon's full-frame cameras. However, it's designed for APS-C sensors, so it will vignette if used on cameras with larger sensors. If it's not an EF-S mount than B&H is the whole reason this thing has had me all confused, because their site says it is. Heres the link.

Heres the link. http://www.bhphotovideo.com …101_30mm_f_1_4_EX_DC.html I was originally led to believe it would work out to about 50mm on my crop until I saw that and was wondering if I was getting something too wide. Anyone use this lens on a crop that can confirm this for me?? the lens is indeed an EF mount and can be mounted on any canon crop or fullframe dslr. it will, however, heavily vignette on fullframe. runninmann what the heck do I know? More info | Oct 14, 2011 18:00 | #5994 I may have overlooked it, but I didn't see any reference to EF-s in the B&H link you included. Please do not confuse "optimized" or "Designed" for crop sensors as being synonymous with EF-s. EF-s lenses are physically/mechanically designed so they don't fit on Canon's non-APS-C cameras. No other lens supplier, to my knowledge, sells such lenses.

Just used basic lightroom presets for the most part....auto tone on the monkey shot was terrible so I did a very light tweak manually...otherwise I did the punch preset, and added a light vignette on both, thats about it. The bamboo shot is slightly desaturated as well.

It seems that B&H may be equating APS-C design to EF-s mount in the case of Canon mount lenses. I can appreciate why they might choose to do this. I don't want to think of the number of returns they might have to make because of an issue where someone thought since it said EF mount... Please Note: Vignetting will occur if the lens is used with digital cameras with image sensors larger than APS-C size or 35mm SLR cameras. 7D | EOS M | Sigma 30mm f/1.4 | Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS USM | Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM | Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 STM | flickr
