A lot of people don't realize how thin this lens can be, great shot to show that. ^^

Do you have a large version of this^^^ image, I'm having trouble seeing the details.

Hey everyone! Had this lens for about a year now, other than some front focusing issue it's been my fav lens on my T2i/550D.

Here are some of my fav shots! Let me know what you think :)

I would think you should be able to do so, although I don't know enough about Google+ to tell you how. I know that on various photo sites (Flickr, Smugmug, etc. that you can do so. Do you have the option of viewing different sized photos on the site?

On Google+ it basically just resize to whatever screen you're on.
There's a resize option in the creative kit there though.
But then I think I'll make it smaller on Google+ too, would rather have it nice and big.

Guess I'll just stop posting here :P

First time poster on this forum, I used this very thread to zero in on my first prime. Got it today, and I immediatly thought that I got a bad one. I think mine is front focusing, the AF is on the bristles of the toothbrush. Just need to verify this with you guys before I go complain, cause I trust your judgement. The aperature is 2.0

^ definitely looks off to me if you're sure your focus was on the bristles.

Send it in to Sigma for a calibration!

QUOTED IMAGE

There are quite a few objects in the photo that are very close together, therefore, you can not be sure which object the camera chose for focus. The AF square that you see is not so clear cut, it extends beyond the square. Not to mention, at f2/0, and at what seems to be a fairly close shooting distance, its perfectly possible that your body swayed backwards just before you snapped the picture.

Try using a tripod and focusing on a single subject that is perpendicular to the lens.

So has anyone experienced any problems with this lens?

I've not had the greatest dealings with Sigma, so I don't want to get it and have to deal with more Sigma problems!
