For now here's a couple quick snapshots both wide open at F/1.4 on a Canon T1i/500D. First one was cropped a bit. Sigma 30mm f/1.4

As soon as Golden Week ends in Japan, I'm going to be trying to send my camera and lens to Sigma to get them calibrated. 5D Mark III | Gripped 60D | EOS M | Sigma 30mm f1.4 | Canon 24-70mm f2.8L II | Canon 8-15mm f4L | Canon 50mm f1.8II | Canon 100L | Tamron 150-600mm

Send it in to Sigma for a calibration! I got a second copy of the lense now, first shot out of the box, situated on the table top, again target was the bristles, at 1.8, looks better to me, but can it get better ? And yes I know I need to do more tests, but Im quite happy, cause there seem to be a big difference to me, just need to be validated in this, so that I dont feel stupid bringing this lense for the Danish Championships in skatehockey tomorrow ![]() Ohh and the pic was taken at 8:45 PM and the only light source was the window.
