thanks :)

Yeah its quite eerie, I went there on foot and had to walk all the way down to the sea to find a crossing point at the river/stream, then back up to the plane! Not easy walking for hours on that black sand...

Wow, hard core. That's really chasing the shot. We booked a tour and got out of the 4x4 and back in again :)

Wish I had more time for this photography thing....

I didn't have the right car for the job and I didn't know I could book a tour to go there! It was one of my "must have" shots, and I think it was worth it in the end :)

Shot my wife took the other day in Japan - I thought the bokeh antlers idea was cheesy at first, but I kind of like it. This lens saved the day for us many times in low light and created some of the best sooc images from our trip.

This lens is just too much fun. I've been practicing my manual focus because I still haven't found it in me to contact Sigma in Japanese. >

Some long time ago i had an own copy. I was using it with C30D - quite normal, good working lens. Sometimes in worst light conditions i had to focus more precisely, but overall it worked good.
I gived it also a try on my newly buyed 5Dclassic, just for sake of curiosity - it get much more sharpness on it, too bad the corners were black :P

A little cropped photo from 5D:
