I had a very nice time tracking feathered friends along the river Mula in Aundh area of Pune, India. This guy was very swift in catching fishes for breakfast :)

His style of catching fish is very exciting. He hovers around 15 meters above the water level for few seconds and then darts quickly catching the fish. Then moves away to nearby trees as fast as he can :)

That is the least colorful Kingfisher I have ever seen.
However, its beak/bill size makes up for its lack of color.
