I really like that 2nd shot.

A teacher huh? I'm a science teacher down here in Tucson AZ. The kids get a kick
out of my wildlife photos.

Welcome to forums and nice shots.

Excellent shots, my old friend (Ron and I have been friends since the late 60s!), and a wonderful subject for your first post. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks Jeremy. I also taught science until retiring a year and a half ago. I started many lessons with a wildlife shot or two. Now I have more time for birding and photography.

Thanks Dan for commenting. It's nice being only 30 minutes from the Sax-Zim Bog (mentioned in the movie "The Big Year" by the way) for the variety of species to try to photograph.
