Here in Tucson, water is at a premium. Areas were water sits on the ground really dont exist unless its a golf course.
Somehow we got some heavy rains and I think the rain, with some help from the reclaimed water facility, this new "pond" has formed.
Its about 1/4 mile by 1/4 mile and is only a foot or 2 deep that I can see. But it allows animals to congregate so I'm good with it.

There is a small sandbar that I laid on for these shots. Cropping was not really needed but the light was harsh because it was about noon I think.

Nice shots Jeremy. I especially like the reflection in the first one.

Great stuff Jeremy, wish the sun would come out around here for a bit, seems it's been overcast for a long time

Very nice Jeremy.

I especially like the 1st one with the clear reflection in the water and feet buried in the mud.

Nice job. I really like the low perspective on these. If I got that low, they would have to bring in a crane to get me back up. :D

Very nice shots, Jeremy; I thought they might be least sandpipers due to the drooping bill, but what I know about shorebirds is minimal at best. Well done.

Shorebirds. ..in Arizona. ..? Who would've thought. You gotta know Jeremy will find them! Excellent shots, Buddy, and like that low angle. I'm like Harvey, the getting down is easy- just fall. It's the getting up part...!?!:-D

Thanks Harvey, Peter, Al, and Rog.
I'm 38 so getting up and down isn't too bad still. I'm lucky I guess.

As for my low angle, thanks. I had the lens about an inch off the sand for these. I was LOW.
